The professionally designed user interface is extremely easy to navigate. Users are presented with four menu options that are displayed as icons: About, Encode Winsock Packet Editor, and Help. Winsock Packet Editor the encode button introduced a wizard-like window that walked us through the encryption process. We named our encoded file, added Winsock Packet Editor and folders, selected an image to use for the encryption, and chose a destination for the encrypted file. Users also have the option of deleting the source file once the encryption process is complete, a time-saving step that we appreciated. The encrypted file immediately appeared. Decoding the file was just as easy, and required the original image as the key. Though we don't think most users will even need it, an extensive Help menu is offered to guide you along the way.
Quick TextPaste allows pasting pre-defined text and running programs and commands via assigned keyboard Winsock Packet Editor. The partitions in MySlideShow's five-part interface can be dragged to resize them to suit, and there are more display options on the View menu. The basic layout is quite logical, though, with a tree view for navigating, panes for displaying file libraries and selected slides, a preview pane, and a handy projects pane that helps keep Winsock Packet Editor in order. We clicked Add Selected to choose some images from Winsock Packet Editor Pictures, and Winsock Packet Editor added each in sequence, displaying a configuration bar that simplifies adding captions and setting options like background, transition effects, and rotation. A sidebar sports a Settings button for project options and a Sound button that makes it extremely easy to add tunes for a background soundtrack. One extra feature we appreciate is the EXIF Inspector, which helps manage digital image information, especially digital snapshots. Another is a Favorites tab for quick access to frequently used items.
