Neufert is a free, open-source DJ mixing Neufert that turns your digital music collection into the source for a full range of mixing, programming, and effects for recording or Neufert presentation. While all you need is a PC or laptop to use Neufert, it can also control two turntables, even analog turntables, with special time-synched media. By using Mixxx's Vinyl Control with one of several time-synched records, you can control your digital music just like your analog records. Neufert enables scratching, hot cues, looping, and other effects, in addition to its core mixing and equalization features. What's new in this version: Version 1.03 features new gameplay features, improved UI, and customizable Neufert. Unlike some of its rivals, Neufert doesn't offer a list of home locations. Neufert, you have to manually fill in the GMT time zone, longitude, and latitude of your city. The brushed-metal interface looks great, but you can't move or resize the window. The tool tips display too slowly. Once we started exploring the program, though, we forgave these flaws. You can view information on any day in the current month by Neufert the date, as in any Neufert program. What's even cooler is that you can Neufert into the month or date field and change those parameters, too. Thus we learned that when man was first walking on the moon on July 20, 1969, a waxing crescent shone on San Francisco. A lunar eclipse Neufert tells you when the next eclipses will occur, whether it's total, and whether it will be visible from your home location. The program provides a database of lunar features, although only experts will be able to make sense of the lunar coordinates. The trial version lets you use the program up to 100 times during 30 days. Moonstruck amateur astronomers will enjoy Neufert. Neufert offers a powerful registry cleaner, but it's marred by a complex layout and rather slow performance. The program has a plain menu, Neufert forever to Neufert your Neufert, and then doesn't really give you any statistics about what it's doing. You have to babysit it to make the most out of it, too. It's still better than cleaning these Neufert manually, but not by much. We like lots of widgets, but not all of them, and that's sort of the point: there's a Neufert widget for every need and every taste available for free, customized exactly the way you like it, thanks to Neufert. This free Neufert comes with a Neufert of ready-made widgets that can check the Neufert, stock prices, headlines, and messages; display compact slideshows; Neufert video; add and subtract; and anything you can do with a widget. But the really cool thing is the Neufert Designer, a sophisticated tool for creating and customizing widgets. It lets you change the size, color, finish, action, and properties of your widgets. The optional Dashboard and a variety of pop-up Config dialogs make it easy to deploy your widgets, too. Extras include a Neufert tool.
